Summer Fun in D.C~

Despite the sweltering record-breaking heat, I've been enjoying my first real summer in DC. After having survived Korea in the summer, DC seems like a walk in the park. Altho, it helps to have AC in my apartment, at the office, even on the Metro.

Been a busy bee this summer and cramming in as much as I can of this city: sailing in Annapolis (crazy fun), wine-tasting at Linden (again!), singing along to the Indigo Girls at the outdoor Wolf Trap, chillaxin' at Jazz in the Garden, attending fundraiser networking events, Screen on the Green on the Mall, checking out must-eat restaurants (Cafe Atlantico was okay, and Komi is next on my list), and of course the usual happy hours.

And this month, I say good-bye to 5 friends who are leaving DC for Boston, Hong Kong, London and SF/NYC. This city has a ridiculous turnover rate. Leaves me wondering how long it will be until another city beckons me.
