Labor Day Weekend in LA

Eunice got married this past Labor Day weekend! It was such a blessing and an honor to celebrate this union with her and Chris. And so glad that I was able to get some time off to spend a week in LA prior to the wedding - caught up with friends and family, helped out with the wedding prep, hung out with the bridal party, got a couples massage with Eunice, slept over Eunice's gorgeous new condo home, OD'ed on Pinkberry, spent some time at Laguna Beach, and my mom managed once again to squeeze in a blind date set-up for me. The guy's mom is diligently praying that it works out between her son and me. No pressure.

Met up with some old and new faces at Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica while I was in LA and had a great time. Immediately after returning to DC, I had the priviledge of hosting Sylvia on her first visit to our nation's capital. We even went on a segway tour of DC! It was awesome~ And she was great about following the whirlwind itinerary that I had created for her - night tour of the memorials; the National Mall; the Smithsonian; Archives to see the original Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution; the White House; the Capitol; and Georgetown.
